Beavers Go 1-1 in Opening Pre-season Weekend
Our young Beaver squad tasted victory with a 6-5 win over the Elder Panthers in the pre-season opener late Saturday night. On sunday, they fell victim to the Olentangy Braves 5-2 on Sunday. See the varsity recap page for details.

Varsity Roster Announced

The 2011-2012 Beavercreek Varsity Ice Hockey team concluded tryouts on Sunday, November 6. This year's squad is led by Seniors Jacob Baldwin, Logan Fletcher, Nick Gamberdella, and Alex Kruse. Juniors Brandon Oakley and Deepak Kullar add their experience to help lead the team. A spirited young crop of new players include Sophomores Adam Cornell and Brandon Rose alon with a Freshman class of Austin Coleman, Ryan Williford, Brandon Sanders, and Gordon Ruppert. Ana Shancey returns as Team Manager along with Sydney Leiher. Congratulations to 2011-2012 Beavers! GO CREEK! The roster can be viewed on the Creek Varsity Roster page.
 
Future Beavers Ice Schedule

Below is the Future Beavers, Monday morning schedule for 2011-12. Anyone that is not a current Creek Varsity player is invited to join the Future Beavers to skate on Monday mornings at 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM in the Ice Box at Kettering Recreation Complex. Ray Morandi and his son Matt will be on hand to teach basic skating and hockey skills to interested players. Sessions are open to any Beavercreek resident age 10-17 that wants to learn the hockey skills necessary to become a player for Creek Varsity. The sessions specifically target the Middle School age group, but we are open to elementaty school and high school participants. The sessions are $8.25 per session thanks to the generous donation from the Creek Varsity program. If you want to learn, but do not have equipment, please let us know. We have a variety of skate sizes and surplus pads at the ready for prospective players. Contact Ray Morandi at flattop628@aol.com if you have questions:

Parents Meeting
Parents of prospective BHS hoclkey players should attend the Hockey Team Meeting on Monday, October 10 at 6;30 pm in the BHS Commons. Coaches and Board Members will present important information concerning the upcoming season.
